Here's an example of the map I'm working on for the Roman RISK project. 30+ territories on the phot. 6 sheets of A3 paper visible, the complete map will be from 35 sheets.
The territories are marked with a black line. Then I've added further borders for the three roman provinces in Spain (thought a the time of Caesar i might have been only two).
The smaller territories are not marked be any historical references, but the large provinces are fairly close to the historical ones.
Also adding roman names where possible (under the names on the map I found).
Lusitania, Baetica and Tarraconesis. Each territory is worth 1 point in the game, controlling an entire province will add bonus points, depending on the size of it. Also adding the roman names where possible, thought it's time consuming.
