Devil's Run: War Rig!

The War Rig is a bloody huge resin monster of a model. An absolutely brutal kit for Devil's Run. ... It doesn't really see much action - but that'll properly change in some upcoming campaign gaming.

Part of the standard equipment on a War Rig is a Whalers Harpoon. So I've build one from a Warhammer spear, hobby chain and a lollipop stick. I've also added some extra armor to some cab windows and a sniper rifle (also part of the War Rig gear).

The big weapons on the tanker are not must haves on the War Rig, so I've magnetized the weapons. Makes it a lot easier to transport the model and the can be taken off if not used in games.

The tanker itself is a bit undetailed, so I've added some extra chains and armor plating. Mostly it has helped catching washes and weathering.

The VW bus back is such a great little detail. The smiley face is a reference to The Comedian in The Watchment. I try to sneak at least one blood spattered smiley into each gaming system I do - it's become a thing.

Devil's Run: Freelancers

In the first Devil's Run there were a couple of Freelancers. Characters and cars able to join all factions in the game.

Bane
The model is done as the car Mad Max drives in the movies. A very nice sculpt. I wanted to try some flame work, so did that. I would like another one at some point, just paint it matt black and dusty.

Added some armor to the rear windows. Made of thin currogated plastic from a box of chocolates.

Muggy and Geralt
There were multible muggy characters in the first Devil's Run kickstarter. And there's an entire muggy expansion coming for the next edition, Hell's Highway. It's a nice little car.

The biker is made from two different miscast bikes. A skinner bike front and a law bike rear. The skulls are 20mm resin pieces from Black Dog miniatures. I'll have to make a card for this bike at some point.

Devil's Run: Skinners

The skinners is the Mad Max War Boys style faction of Devil's Run by Word Forge Games. Murderes, cannibals, maniacs. I've gone for a rusty and weathered look, many spikes and some blood splatter. So I've painted it all with a brown base coat and then different types of brown on the models.

Carcuss and buggy
The little buggy is from the Skinners faction starter. I haven't done anything to this model. It's a really nice model, super detailed.
The car is a hot wheels conversion. The armorplates on the back are from Ramshackle Games. The spikes are toothpicks, drilled holes in the roof and put them through. The small 20mm scale skulls are from Black Dog Model Company (find their stuff on ebay, it's cheapest).

Bikes and trike
Bikes and trikes from the Skinners faction skinners. Very nice models. Skulls, bones, spikes - these have a really good 80's style post apocalyptic movie look. I love them.
Trukk
A mash up ramshackle vehicle. Fluffwise it's a build made from multiple different vehicles, bolted and welded together. The resin model from Word Forge Games is a very nice kit. I've added a few extra details myself.

The top gunner is from Ramshackle Games, the gunnest is made from chocolate box plastic and chain. Black Dog skulls and more chains added. The guy on the back is a modern zombie by Caesar Miniatures (find them cheap on Ebay). I've painted him in the same colours as my Law Company (internal link).

Complete faction
The complete faction at June 2017. V8V8V8!

Devil's Run: Hauls Angels

The Hauls Angels is one of the two factions in the original Devil's Run: Route 666 by Wordforge Games. I like the official resin models a lot, their bikes are especially cool. They have a neat old school biker gang vibe to them.

I've gone for a red colour scheme with added skull symbols to the larger areas. Some of these models I did for the beta version of game, before getting the kickstarter.

Homemade Car
This car is made with a hotwheels car. Picked it due to the cool motor sticking out of the hood. The spikes on the roof is pick axes from old Games Workshop plastic chaos marauders. The crew inside is from the nice 20mm apoc conversion set by Ramshackle Games. Mesh in the back window in from the local hardware store and the armor plating is just a random piece of plastic I found.

Trukk!
The Haul's Angels don't have a trukk in the game, but I'm just using my Skinners cards for it. I want a behemoth for all my gangs. Trukks are described as ramshackle vehicles made from lots of different cars. So this thing is build from three different cars I cut up with a hacksaw.
The armor plasting is made from currogated plastic that comes in chocolate packages. The exhaust pipe is made from a lollipop stick I bend with some candle light heat.
Spikes from warhammer pickaxes. Driver, passenger and gunner from Ramshackle Games.

Buggy and resin car
Buggies are awesome in Devil's Run. This little thing is made from a Kinder Surprise gokart. Added some metal mesh and a roll cage from thing plastic rod. The minigun  and driver are a Ramshackle Games bits.

The car (a gasser) is an official resin model from Wordforge Games. It's a really nice piece. No conversions added to this one.

Bikes and Trike
Lovely little models from Wordforge Games. The skinner bikes and trike have a ton of detail. I really don't like painting models this small, with that many details. But the results are cool and the models are rock n roll.

The entire gang
